A 4×4 drive system with the Command-Trac technology is available in the 2018 Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler JK. Powertrain

Featuring the eTorque Hybrid technology, this all-new powertrain delivers up to 295 pound-feet of torque and 270 horsepower. A six-cylinder engine with the Pentastar logo is available in the Wrangler and JK. Just as in previous years, this V6 engine utilizes natural aspiration in the induction cycle. You’ll get a maximum of 285 hp and 260 lb-ft from this acclaimed powertrain that has a displacement of 3.6 L. Eight fixed gears are included in the Wrangler’s automatic transmission system. Most of the Wrangler and JK trims come standard with a a six-speed manual transmission system. The JK could be equipped with an optional automatic transmission that has five ratios in the gearbox.
Technology
The 2018 Wrangler’s Uconnect 3 infotainment system has a 5.0-inch display. A 7.0-inch monitor is included in the Uconnect 4 multimedia platform. Additionally, the Uconnect 4C NAV platform is packed into an 8.4-inch touch screen. The JK offers Radio 430 NAV system that comes with a 6.5-inch touch screen. This digital console includes GPS navigation software by Garmin. The 4C NAV hub includes an advanced GPS navigation system with colorful maps in several dimensions.
